As a proud American traveler with an insatiable wanderlust, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bay View Retreat in Paignton during my business trip to the UK. This cozy 2-bedroom apartment truly felt like a home away from home with its well-equipped kitchen, complete with a fridge and oven, perfect for preparing meals for my family and I. the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during our downtime, and the washing machine was a convenient amenity for longer stays. The private entrance of the apartment added a sense of privacy and exclusivity, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. the thoughtful touch of towels provided made our stay even more comfortable. Being just 2.3 km from Paignton Beach, we enjoyed leisurely walks along the shore, taking in the stunning views of Torbay. the proximity to the Riviera International Centre and Hollicombe Beach made exploring the area a breeze. The warm welcome we received from our host, Shelley, who left a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge, truly showed her attention to detail and care for her guests. the comfortable beds and inviting 3 piece suite provided a relaxing retreat after a long day of work. the balcony with a table and chairs was the perfect spot for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening. Bay View Retreat exceeded all of our expectations and we are already planning our next visit later in the year. the location, amenities, and care shown by the host made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this apartment to fellow travelers looking for a comfortable and welcoming retreat in Paignton.
